Ethnology in Slovakia on the Threshold of 21st Century: Reflection and Trends

The conference was organised on the occasion of 55th Anniversary of the Institute of Ethnology SAS by the Institute of Ethnology in collaboration with several institutions including the Directory of SAS. All academic staff of the Institute participated as well as ethnologists from other Slovak research institutions and museums and guests from abroad (i.e. Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Germany) – 80 participants in total.
